World Traveller Jumber Lezhava - Avowed as King of Travellers

I came, I saw, I conquired (J. Caesar)

Short information about the travelling (by Mr. Lezhava)
From August 13, 1993 till November 3, 2002 I travelled in more then world’s 230 countries and territories, totally more then 500 thousand km; 264 thousand by bicycle, and the rest of it by air and sea.
For certain reasons six countries refused to receive me. These countries are: Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Brunei, North Korea and Libia. But I hope that sooner or later I'll visit them and make one more unique record which may be only repeated - to visit ALL countries of the World.
My travelling was full of funny, dangerous and the same time very interesting occurences: attacks of animals, reptiles and people. I survived more then 132 times (I kept strict record of such happenings) in different occasions. I slept at different places: in stations, in the hollows of big trees, in prisons and hospitals, on the rooftops of houses, sea beaches, in the shrouds, jungles, deserts and hotels as well.
I covered up to 100-120 km daily. I set a world record at the central stadium of Santiago, Chile having passed 354 km in 12 hours and having improved the Guinness Record in push-ups in Switzerland (135 exercises a minute).
In wintertime I traversed Greenland, Ireland, Scandinavian countries, Desert of Gobi, Alaska and twice visited Antarctica with lowest temperature of minus 34°C.
In hot summertime I crossed deserts Sahara, Tari and Kalahari, Brazil and Mexico (max temp +51°C).
I used bicycles manufactured by four companies: Ukrainian tourist bicycle Ukraine in Asia Minor and Arabia (17 000 km); Italian Benotto in Asia, Australia and South America (12 500 km); Taiwanese Giant in East Asia and North America
(30 000 km); American Conandoil in the whole Africa, Europe and Middle Asia (100 000 km).
I crossed equator on bicycle 11 times: in Indonesia, Equador, Brazil, Gabon, Kongo, Zair, Uganda, Kenia, near Kiribaty Islands on a ship and above Nauru and New Guinea by airplane.
My further schedule of trips is as follows: Egypt - 1994, Malaysia - 1995, Hong Kong - 1996, USA - 1997, Argentina -1998, France - 1999, Kongo - 2000, Ethiopia - 2001, Sweden - 2002. I was registered at police stations approximately 4000 times. I have taken footage of 95 video cassettes and I have made about 70 thousand photos in more than 2000 journals, newspapers and about 500 TV companies.
I have crossed three Oceans, about 140 seas, more than 800 rivers and lakes, about 30 desert tracts, visited more than 50 islands, passed about 10 thousand cities and villages, where I made friends with lots of people.

Via est Vita.
